Educational Series: Wage & Hour Fundamentals

Join us on Tuesday, April 14, from 11am-12pm for a session in our Educational Series: Wage & Hour Fundamentals: Avoiding Common Pitfalls, led by Shannon Kreuer, from Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston.

This presentation will provide an overview of several areas of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) that are often more nuanced than many employers think. Topics will include proper calculation of the “regular rate” when computing overtime pay (and common missteps concerning bonuses and shift differentials), tip credit and tip pooling pitfalls, and permissible (and impermissible) deductions from pay.
