Jeff Wilson and Ethan Frontz, of Instruments of Freedom, will be speaking on “Stop the Bleed” at the next Safety Council meeting on August 28.
When dealing with an arterial bleed, every second counts. 30,000 lives each year could be saved if more people knew how to control massive hemorrhaging. Accidents can happen at any time. Car wrecks, work injuries, camping, hunting, active shooter situations are all reasons one could need medical attention. Carrying and knowing the proper application of a tourniquet can make all the difference for keeping an injured person alive. Remember, when seconds count, emergency services are only minutes away...
Jeff Wilson started his career in 1992 in the small village of Shreve, Ohio. After 10 years he went on to multiple instructor schools throughout the US with his favorite being at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center where he obtained his Federal Instructor Certification. Always being the quiet professional and a student of “the Game” he continues to put in over 150 hours a year of his own training to become as proficient as possible as an instructor while teaching around the country and donating his time to law enforcement agencies in multiple disciplines of weapon systems, surveillance/ counter surveillance, Tactical Medicine, NVGs and FLIR, Active Shooter and more. He has multiple instructor certifications and continues to build on his CV every year.
Ethan Frontz has been a Wooster resident his whole life. Ethan learned to love his community by being a water well driller for his family’s local business. Supplying Ohio families with clean drinking water was something he was proud to contribute. Becoming a Concealed Handgun License instructor in 2016, Ethan turned his focus as a partner of Instruments Of Freedom, to be an asset to the public and have a positive impact on the community by providing quality training to ensure self preservation when tragedy strikes.
