Tom Brohm is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervision endorsement in the state of Ohio and has been in the field for 36 years in a variety of settings including his current position as outpatient therapist and clinical supervisor at The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties. His work history includes teaching as an adjunct professor in the counseling program at The Ashland Theological Seminary, working as the director of employee assistance programs at the source one group, served as a CEO of a Fortune 500 owned and operated - 84 bed facility for adolescent boys and girls who were struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues, and has also served as clinical director at the same institution.
Mr. Brohm has hosted and produced a television series in the 1990s on entitled “Thriving in the 90s”, which address mental health issues and ways to address them. The series was carried by 3 cable networks.
Mr. Brohm has also has experience as the chief operating officer of Cornerstone Psychological Affiliates in Ashland and was able to produce a 310% growth in one year as they expanded their offices and clientele from 40 clients per week to over 300.
Mr. Brohm's treatment philosophy includes helping people in the best way possible, the least intrusive way possible, and yet the most thorough way possible. Mr. Brohm often has clients that see improvements in completion of goals within 6 to 8 sessions routinely.
