WASC July 2022 - Heat Safety

After 2 years of not holding in-person meetings, Wooster Area Safety Council is making a full return this month! The first in-person meeting is set for Wednesday, July 27.

Fire Chief Barry Saley with the Wooster Division of Fire will be presenting How to Avoid Heat-related Illnesses and Death.

Guests in attendance at the meeting will learn:

1. What is heat exhaustion and heat stroke

2. Safety Tips to avoid heat related illnesses

Fire Chief Saley has earned an AS in Fire Protection Technology as well as a BS in Fire Administration. He is an Ohio Fire Executive Class 17 - OFE and has an Ohio Fire Chief Credential - OFC. Chief Saley is also an FF/EMT-Paramedic.
