The Wooster Area Safety Council will meet on Wednesday, June 26th at First Presbyterian Church. For the final meeting of the FY19 Safety Council year, Wooster Division of Fire Inspector/Investigator, Mike Berry, will discuss heat exhaustion and heat stroke, as well as discuss ways to stay safe in the summer heat.
Mike Berry is a 19 year veteran of the Wooster Division of Fire. Along with his duties as a Firefighter and Fire Inspector, Mike is also a State of Ohio certified Paramedic. He is also an Internationally Certified Fire Investigator and American Heart Association CPR Instructor. Mike's position as the Wooster Fire Inspector includes fire safety inspections, public education, fire prevention, acceptance testing on all forms of building life safety systems, fire & ems calls, and fire investigations. Mike currently lives in Wooster with his wife and three sons. His time off is spent traveling to various sporting events for his kids and spending time with family and friends.
