WASC March 2019 - First Aid/CPR

The Wooster Area Safety Council will meet on Wednesday, March 27th at First Presbyterian Church in Wooster. Phil Ormandy and Lara Kiefer from the Lake Erie/Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross will cover first aid/CPR.

Phil has served as a volunteer instructor with the American Red Cross since 1992. Prior to join the American Red Cross as an employee, Mr. Ormandy ran Elyria Arts Inc., a nationwide wholesale framing company, as well as West Wind Moiving in Wellington, Ohio. After the sale of his companies, Phil moved to Maryland in 2006 to take a position with the Chesapeake Chapter of the American Red Cross. Ten years later, he returnend to Ohio as the Strategic Account Executive, Training Services with the Lake Erie/Heartland Chapter. Phil's wife also works for the American Red Cross as an Accounts Receivable Analyst.

Lara Kiefer joined the Lake Erie/Heartland Chapter as Executive Director in 2016. Lara has 17 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, assisting domestic violence survivors and individuals seeking mental health and addiction treatment.
