WASC May 2019 - Safety Grants

The Wooster Area Safety Council will gather on Wednesday, May 22nd at First Presbyterian Church in Wooster. Kelly Ott, Ergonomic Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation, will discuss the different Safety Grants available through the BWC.

Kelly Ott works to assist employers with developing a system based approach to ergonomics and safety through services such as Safety Grant application assistance, ergonomic team development, Safety culture assessment, and strategic planning. Over the years, Kelly has directed the implementation of safety, environmental, and health programs focused on preventing injuries, improving communications, identifying risk factors, and training personnel. Kelly currently serves as the BWC Coordinator for several northeast Ohio Safety Councils including Wooster.
