WASC September 2018 - Lock Out/Tag Out

The Wooster Area Safety Council will meet on Wednesday, September 26th at First Presbyterian Church. Speaking to the group will be Eric White, Construction Safety Consultant for the BWC. Eric will be going over Lock Out/Tag Out priniples and procedures as outlined by OSHA. Mr. White will also provide examples of safety-related work practices as well as guidelines and practical approaches to safety.

Currently, Eric is a Construction Safety Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, Division of Safety & Hygiene. Mr. White has been with the BWC for 19 years and has been in the safety field for 25 years. Prior to working at the BWC, Eric held positions with the Mechanical Contractors' Association, Honda of America, OHM Corporation, and worked man y years as a carpenter. He holds a BS in Environmental Hazardous Materials Management/Industrial Hygeine from the University of Findlay.
