A properly fitting boot is the best way to save your feet from falling objects or slips and falls. Even "minor" eye injuries can cause long-term vision problems. An estimated 90 percent of eye injuries can be prevented through the use of proper protective eyewear. Hearing loss is a common workplace injury, but wearing the proper protection can prevent irreversible damage. Tricor Industrial, along with Steel Blue and 3M will share the importance of wearing the proper protective gear on the job site.
During the meeting guests will learn:
Hearing Conservation
Safety Eyewear
The number one issue with having a safety toe policy in your facility is getting people to adhere to it. Most people have a low opinion of safety toe shoes because they are used to pinched toes and uncomfortable soles, so they sneak back into their tennis shoes when the EHS Manager isn’t around and that’s when accidents happen. Steel Blue was founded with the sole purpose of making safety toed boots that are as, or more comfortable than tennis shoes. That means EHS Managers don’t have to fight with their employees to wear them. During this presentation, Stan Klatka, Sales/Business Development Manager with Tricor Industrial Supply will review industry statistics about foot injuries and why a safety toe program is important. Best practices for how to implement a program if your facility doesn’t already have one and an overview of the technology in our boots that make them the most comfortable work shoes on the market that your employees will want to wear, not fight you on.
