How far can you send a Sausage sailing through the sky, while your partner catches it in one piece? Think you can out-do sausage tossers from throughout the Wooster area? If so, then sign up for the first Annual Woosterfest Sausage Toss, scheduled for Saturday, September 28 at 5:00 p.m. Teams of two will compete to see who can toss the Sausage back and forth the farthest while keeping it intact. To the victor goes the sausage and other prizes. The longest successful toss will be named the 2019 Woosterfest Sausage Toss Champion!
Listed below are additional details for the competition:
Teams - The event required teams of two. Each player will be required to toss and catch the sausage at various pre-determined lengths.
Pre-registration is required and all team spots are filled on a first come first serve basis.
All Participants must report at 4:45 p.m. at the event tent on East Liberty Street. Teams will be broken into three individual heats, with a Champion of each round being named. The top 3 Sausage Tossers from each heat will go on to the Championship Round, where a top Sausage Tosser will be named!
You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
