About Us

In the 90’s, John was the Ohio distributor for a few Boston seafood companies, serving area restaurants. He expanded to his own restaurant accounts. All this lead to a demand for his home account delivery service which in turn led to opening his retail fish market and cafe.

Finding a reputable source that offers consistently fresh, high-quality seafood in Ohio has been near impossible until you come in to see BayLobsters Café & Fish Market. BayLobsters is committed to our goal of offering a wide variety of high quality, fresh and frozen seafood. You will often find fresh fish such as halibut, grouper, cod, swordfish, salmon (wild in season) and top-quality farm-raised salmon that is free of antibiotics and hormones, free of added synthetic colors and GMO free and is given an organic wild feed that they would eat naturally anyway. Also, yellowfin tuna, snapper, ocean perch, Lake Erie Perch Lake Erie Walleye and many more. Shellfish varieties include fresh dry-pack sea scallops, a wide variety of shrimp, clams, mussels, and oysters. Some of our house made items include crab cakes, lobster salad, pizzas, clam chowda, lobster bisque and lobster mac & cheese.

Seafood dinners? We have so much to pick from. Our most popular is our Fish-n-Chips. Other popular meals include: a sampler platter, house breaded shrimp, clam strips, lobster roll, Quesadillas (shrimp or scallop), breaded oysters, breaded calamari. Any fish or shellfish in our display cases can also be made into a meal…just for YOU.
