About Us

Nick Amster, Inc. is a private, non-profit operation serving Wayne County adults with Developmental Disabilities. The program provides vocational employment and training, teaches job skills and teaches and reinforces concepts related to work including responsibility, attendance, task completion, problem solving, social interaction, motor skill development and safety.

We currently serve over 300 individuals throughout Wayne County inside two programs. Services include sheltered employment, community employment, individual job placement services and job coaching. Our Oldman Facility offers speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and nursing services to our clients.
